When you book a call, your payment is collected at the time of booking but held securely by our payment processor (Stripe) until the session is completed. The creator is only paid after the call takes place. This protects you in case of cancellations or no-shows.
If you need to cancel a booking, the refund depends on how much notice you give:
If a creator cancels your booking for any reason, you will receive an automatic full refund. The platform absorbs any payment processing fees so you get back 100% of what you paid.
If the creator does not join the call, you will receive an automatic full refund. Our system detects this automatically after the scheduled call time plus a 30-minute grace period.
If you do not join the call, the creator will still receive their payout. The creator was present and ready for the session, so no refund is issued.
If your creator proposes new times for your call and none of them work for you, you can decline and receive a full refund immediately, even if the original call was within 24 hours.
Creators may choose to issue a voluntary full refund within 24 hours of a completed call. This is at the creator's discretion and may be offered if they feel the session did not meet expectations.
If you have a concern about a session that isn't covered by the automatic policies above, contact our support team and we will review. We review disputes based on objective criteria: did the call happen, did it last the booked duration, and were both parties present.
Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
You can reschedule a confirmed booking at no additional cost up to 24 hours before the session, subject to the creator's availability.
