Jerry Trimble
Actor•World Champion•Motivator
I’m Jerry Trimble, actor, two-time World Kickboxing Champion, professional boxer, sixth-degree black belt, Kickboxing Hall of Famer, former stuntman, and motivational speaker.
But I didn’t start out confident. As a kid growing up in Kentucky, I was bullied, insecure, struggled with anxiety and depression, and was afraid of just about everything. I didn’t believe in myself, and I certainly never imagined becoming a world champion, becoming an actor, or one day working alongside some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
Then I discovered Bruce Lee. He inspired me to begin martial arts, and for the first time, I found a way to train not just my body, but my confidence, courage, and discipline. Little by little, I started becoming someone I never thought I could be.
That scared, insecure kid eventually became a two-time World Kickboxing Champion. And the kid who never dreamed he could be an actor went on to build a career with more than 65 film and television roles, including Heat, Charlie’s Angels, The Green Hornet, Supernatural, The Flash, Tracker, and more.
Along the way, I learned that some of the toughest fights don’t happen in a ring. They happen inside us. Fear, self-doubt, rejection, setbacks, and that voice telling us we’re not good enough.
I also learned one of the most important lessons of my life. Fear is a lie. It may feel real, but it doesn’t get to decide who we are or what we’re capable of becoming.
That’s why I do what I do today. I know what it feels like to be afraid, to doubt yourself, and to wonder if you have what it takes. I’m not here to preach at you or pretend I have all the answers. I’m here to listen, share what I’ve learned, and help you find a practical way forward.
I believe we rise by lifting others, and if something I’ve learned along the way can help you rise, that means something to me.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, chasing a goal, building confidence, pursuing acting, facing a fear, or simply trying to get more out of yourself, let’s talk.
Everything is training.
